We just got back from a camping road trip through Northern Utah, Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons and the Sierras. I have a lot of new paintings to share in future posts along with this one of the Nez Perce Creek in Yellowstone I made after jumping off some rocks and floating with the current through a narrow s-shaped canyon upstream.
I have exciting news. I have much gratitude to Andy McTavish and the Santa Barbara Art Foundry and Gallery at 120 Santa Barbara Street in the lively funk zone for providing a space for me to hang my paintings. The gallery is awesome… it is a beautiful, fun, colorful space focussing on bronze sculpture. There is a working foundry and live glass blowing going on much of the time. If you haven’t headed downtown and explored this newly revitalized part of town some evening, I highly recommend it… the creativity, music, art and energy is incredible.
