Acrylic on Canvas– 16×20″– This is the path on the DPHS cross country course… they are lucky kids who get to get off the pavement each day and run on these shady trails. You can find fragments of seashells in the soil– remnants from the Chumash who called this place home.
Hi Kevin, as always it’s a delight to open your message and see your latest painting – beautiful. I always love your bold use of colour and how you simplify the image. I’m headed to Vancouver in a couple of weeks and will be picking up your painting which I left to be framed. We recently updated our hallway and I’ve save a special spot for it. Really looking forward to finally having it hanging in our house. All the best and keep painting (you’re inspiring me to be more regular)
Great layers❣ your work reminds me of Lars Stenberg👍🏻
Thanks… I’d never seen his work before and just checked it out– it is awesome…
Great! Thanks Sheila. I’m honored to have it in your place. I saw your recent works on your page– beautiful!
Wonderful!
Thanks!
Looks picture perfect. Checking your blog for the first time. Awesome choice of vibrant colors! The main highlight of the painting is the sun rays on the ground and shadows of the trees. I like it very much 😊
Thanks so much! Enjoy your day.
