Acrylic on Canvas 24×30″– My canvas was feeling like a kite as I walked out to paint last week. The friendly Eucalyptus trees in the foreground gave me shade and let me draft off them as I took in the yellow stripes of mustard flowers on the horizon.
12×24″ Acrylic on Mounted Canvas– I have five paintings in a new show opening at the Palm Loft Gallery in Carpinteria. Come Saturday evening from 5-7 for the opening and then stay for a concert by the Tall Men Group.
10×20″ Acrylic and Casein– Spring is springing in Pinnacles National Park. The California Condors are nesting up canyon from this area– it was my first time seeing their incredible 9 foot wingspan in the wild.
10×20″ Acrylic and Casein– My family sketched and played in the redwoods as I painted this enchanted cascade on McWay Creek in Julia Pfeifer Burns State Park last week. Such a beautiful place… every turn on the trail was a painting waiting to be made.
